Region

Focus on the regional living, working and life environment. The airport wants to increase the positive impact of its activities and reduce the negative impact as much as possible. That's why we are proactively working on building a strong bond with the community by being approachable, open and transparent. We involve local residents in the developments at the airport and keep them informed, as was agreed in 'Reconnected', the 2019 advisory report that shapes the future development of Eindhoven Airport. The central question was this:  ‘How can you give effectiveness to the transition towards a smarter, more sustainable and more quality-driven aviation and airport development from a regional point of view?’

After extensive consultation between the airport, its neighbours, the authorities, businesses and other stakeholders, the answer has been translated into five spearheads.

This page provides an up-to-date overview of the actions taken by Eindhoven Airport for each spearhead.
