Zadar is a wonderful city half-way down Croatia’s coastline. From it, you can easily reach any number of cities in Northern Dalmatia that are worth a visit. Panoramic views, welcoming islands and unspoiled nature are present in abundance in this region!
Visiting surrounding areas and cities is easy from Zadar. You can take the train or car, for example, to Split. Highly recommended for those who'd enjoy a stroll on the boulevard. The journey to this city needn’t be tedious, either: stop off at one of the many sand or pebble beaches and enjoy a refreshing dip!
Next to Split lies the town of Trogir, which features on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The terraces here are bustling, particularly in summer, and the atmosphere is great. Keen to stay here? Check out the accommodation in the newer part of Trogir. You’ll find it very affordable, plus it’s a mere stone’s throw from the lively boulevard.
Paklenica National Park
