The Forum is the cultural and historical heart of the old town of Zadar. It is surrounded by the archaeological museum, St. Anastasia Cathedral, St. Mary's Church and the Church of St. Donatus. The Church of St. Donatus is the symbol of the city. Its unusual round shape makes the church the most famous example of early medieval architecture in all of Croatia.
