The first foundation piles of the entrance building are being drilled into the ground
The first of the 62 foundation piles for the entrance building have been drilled into the ground. This work is carried out at night because it takes place close to the terminal exit. The entire job, which will continue during the day after several nights, will take about two and a half weeks. The first columns for the entrance building are expected to be installed at the beginning of April. Soon, roof beams will be placed on the columns of the extension. In addition, pipes are being laid for systems such as air ducts and the sprinkler installation. The first glass has also been installed in the extension of the terminal (on the airside ground floor). The emergency stairwell is largely complete as well.
