Sedum roof installed on entrance building

As many as 2,000 square metres of sedum plants have been installed on the roof of the entrance building. It is a great example of how to adapt to a changing climate with increasingly intense rainfall and prolonged dry periods. The sedum roof retains rainwater and helps reduce heat stress. Employees of idVerde from Veldhoven completed the installation of this climate-adaptive roof in just two weeks. The sedum roof is part of the sustainability measures incorporated into the terminal expansion project.
