You can walk from the Royal Palace to Oslo Central Station along the long Karl Johans Street. This street is about 1.6 kilometres long and has many interesting places to see. In the centre is the National Theatre, an important cultural building. If you continue, you will come to the beautiful Slottsparken, a royal park next to the palace, where you can stroll in beautiful gardens. At the end of Karl Johans Street, you'll find Oslo's impressive Opera House, which sits on the waters of the Oslofjord. If you like shopping, there are many shops in the city centre, especially along Karl Johans Street. And on Sunday mornings, you might find treasures at the antiques market in the picturesque Birkelunden park.
