For the third consecutive year, this basic attitude has increased. In 2025, 76% of those surveyed were positive to very positive about Eindhoven Airport, compared to 75% the previous year. In 2023, the basic attitude was still 74%.

A large majority see the airport as important for regional development (75%) and as a logical partner for regional organisations (66%). Two thirds regard the airport as a source of pride for the region. Most residents (65%) prefer the scenario in which the size of the airport remains as it is now. Growth is considered acceptable by just over half, while shrinkage is more often regarded as unacceptable than last year.
Nuisance and sustainability remain important themes, but are mentioned less often than in 2024. Most residents are neutral or positive about the proximity of the airport, with 4% being (very) negative. Noise nuisance is generally hardly experienced. Only 5-6% experience inconvenience.
