Eindhoven Airport forecast September: 3,955 flight movements and about 660,000 passengers

Share

Eindhoven Airport expects 3,955 flight movements and about 660,000 passengers (inbound and outbound added up) in September. That's about 65 departures and 65 arrivals per day. This means that the expected total number of flight movements and expected total number of passengers in September is slightly lower than in August.

August was the busiest month ever for Eindhoven Airport in terms of passenger numbers. In August, the airport welcomed a total of over 674,000 passengers: exactly 674,178 (incoming and outgoing passengers added up). We had fifty more passengers in August this year than in 2019. The number of flight movements in August this year was 4,003. This put the total number of flight movements 1.7 percent higher than the expected number of 3,944. Total passengers were 6.2 percent higher than the expected number of 651,000. The average occupancy rate was about 91 percent in August.

Eindhoven Airport has had a good summer with over 1.3 million passengers and 8010 flight movements in the months of July and August (inbound and outbound added together). The number of passengers was about the same in summer 2019 (July and August), but the number of flight movements was then slightly higher at 8037. This means that the average occupancy per flight this summer is somewhat higher than in summer 2019.

Obviously, in terms of the number of flight movements, Eindhoven Airport remains within the maximum licensed number of flight movements of 41,500 per calendar year in line with Pieter van Geel's advice.
