Which personal data do we process? If you travel through Eindhoven Airport with baggage, information on your baggage is processed. Your item of baggage is given a unique barcode which is linked to your name and possibly a frequent flyer number.
Why do we process your personal data? We process your data on behalf of the airline, with whom you have an agreement. Your data are processed as part of efforts to monitor security at the airport and promote the speedy flow of baggage. How long do we retain your details? The data will be deleted within seven days once your flight has departed.
Who do we share your data with? Depending on the circumstance, we report progress in handling of your baggage to the airline you are flying with. If needed we might also share your data with the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee and Dutch Customs.
In case the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee or Dutch Customs want to know who owns an item of baggage, they will contact the airline you are flying with. Eindhoven Airport does not provide this information.
Who is the controller? The airline you are flying with is controller. Eindhoven Airport N.V. is processor.
