For many people, the holidays are the best time to go on vacation. Time off from work,  schools are off and nice temperatures in many cities abroad make it a popular time to pack your bags. This is reflected in the number of passengers in the terminal.

It can be very crowded at Eindhoven Airport at the moment. We are working very hard together with our partners to make the start of your journey as comfortable as possible. Check also the tips and information below on what to expect when departing from Eindhoven Airport. This way you are well prepared.

Time to arrive at the airport

Be at the airport 2 hours before your flight departs. Are you flying early in the morning? Please note that the airport is open as from 04.30 hrs.

Check in

Make sure you have checked in online in advance. This will save time. You will receive your boarding pass after check in which you will need to go through the security check. Find more information on checking in.

• Have you checked in online in advance and are travelling with baggage? Please proceed straight to the Drop & Go desks on the left in the terminal. Do not stand in the line for the security check. At the Drop & Go desks you can print your baggage label and hand in your baggage. 

• Did you not check in online in advance? Please enter the terminal as well and go to the check in desks of your airline. The employees will hand you your boarding pass and take care of your baggage. 

• Are you travelling only with hand baggage and you have already checked in? Proceed then to the waiting line for the security check. 

Security Check

Currently there can be large crowds waiting to go through the security check. Do you still have to check in of hand in baggage? Proceed first to the check in desks in the terminal, see also above. Then proceed to the waiting line for the security check. Everyone departing from Eindhoven Airport will need to go through the security check. Do not stand in line more than 2 before your departure.

Do you require assistance? Please make your request on time, ultimately 48 hours before your departure (or arrival) at your airline. Find more information on requesting assistance.

Fast Track

It is possible to use Fast Track. Please note there are a limited number of tickets available per day. Book your Fast Track ticket here and fly through the security check at Eindhoven Airport.
